Common questions
Do staff need to be rostered to clock in?▾
Yes. Clock-in is tied to published shifts for that day in your shop timezone. This prevents unauthorised clock-ins and lets the system flag late or missing staff.
What if someone tries to clock in from home?▾
Clock-in checks GPS against your shop geofence. Staff must be on site within the configured radius (default 100m).
Can managers clock in too?▾
Yes. Managers and owners can clock in from mobile when they have a published shift today.
What happens if someone clocks out early?▾
They may be prompted for a reason. Early finish is recorded and visible in the attendance detail modal.
Does attendance connect to payroll?▾
Clocked hours feed timesheets. After manager approval, hours and staff pay rates on profiles are used for pay run calculation and accountant export packs. SyncDex is not STP-ready.
Can I manage attendance for multiple shops?▾
Yes. Each shop has its own geofence, timezone, and attendance rules. Switch location from the dashboard sidebar under one login.
